Sunday Sermon - December 14, 2025
|
Speaker: Pastor T.C. Johnson
Date: Sunday, December 14, 2025
Topic: "The Greatest Love Story Ever Told"
Scripture: - John 3:16 (KJV)
Scripture Reading - John 3:16 (KJV)
16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
Sermon Summary
he story of God’s love for humanity is the Greatest Love Story ever told. There are many true love stories that demonstrate deep, strong, and even great love, but there is no love story that is equivalent to God’s demonstrated love for the world. In the book of Romans we read, “But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.’ For most of us it is easy and understandable to love our friends, but God’s Love is Greatest because His Love is the same toward everyone, this includes His enemies! This is the season that celebrates God’s Gift to the world it is the most uniquely unchallengeable greatest love story ever told. Love is more than an emotion or feeling, it is, when it is real, a verb, an action verb, it does something. God’s love gave; He gave His only Son for us, His enemies! May the fact of God’s love bring joy as we celebrate the gift of Jesus, even in these times of global, national and local turbulence, knowing that there is still Good News. We are blessed to be the objects in the greatest love story every told!
Be Blessed,
Pastor T.C. Johnson

National Safe Toys and Gifts Month
|
National Safe Toys and Gifts Month aims to raise awareness about the importance of selecting safe and age-appropriate toys for children. This observance serves as a reminder for parents, caregivers, and gift-givers to prioritize safety when choosing gifts, particularly during the busy holiday shopping season. The initiative focuses on preventing accidents and injuries caused by hazardous toys, which can lead to serious injuries, especially among young children
- Check Labels: Always look for age-appropriate labels on toys and follow the manufacturer's recommendations to ensure safety.
- Avoid Small Parts: Steer clear of toys with small parts that could pose choking hazards for young children.
- Inspect for Hazards: Examine toys for sharp edges, loose parts, or any potential dangers that could harm children.
- Read Reviews: Research toys and gifts online, read reviews, and ask for recommendations from other parents and caregivers.
- Consider Child’s Age: Take into account a child’s age, interests, and abilities when selecting gifts to ensure they are suitable.
As we celebrate National Safe Toys and Gifts Month, it is essential to commit to making informed choices that prioritize the safety and well-being of children. By following safety guidelines and spreading awareness, we can ensure that the joy of giving does not come with hidden hazards, making the holiday season a happy and healthy time for all

Black History Program Practice
|
This year’s Black History program explores how every generation faces “giants” that challenge faith, identity, courage, and obedience. Drawing from both Scripture and Black history, we highlight enduring giants such as fear, injustice, doubt, division, and spiritual opposition—and the consistent power of God to overcome them. As God instructed Moses to send leaders to explore the land He had already promised (Numbers 13:1–2), we are reminded that progress alone is not possession. True occupation requires faith, courage, and obedience, calling each generation to rise and respond in belief: “Let us go up at once and occupy it, for we are well able to overcome it” (Numbers 13:30).
