Sunday Sermon - November 30, 2025
|
Speaker: Pastor T.C. Johnson
Date: Sunday, November 30, 2025
Topic: "Thanking God Through It All"
Scripture: - Job 12"15
Scripture Reading - Job 13:15 15 (a) Though he slay me, yet will I trust in him:
Sermon Summary
These are the words of a believer who had lost everything except his trust in the righteousness of God. He had been exceptionally blessed as he worshiped and lived a life that pleased God so much that God called him an upright man! Job’s losses were very painful, and his sickness was very severe, but he continued to trust God. When he lost his personal worldly wealth and all ten children he says, “The Lord gave and the Lord takes away, blessed be the name of the Lord.” Then he knelled down and worshiped/blessed God. The adversary had made a prediction that Job would reverse or stop blessing God and do the opposite or curse God. Job was thanking God through it all! Then he is attacked in his physical health with boils breaking out all over his body can you imagine the pus oozing and the odor? Through all this Job’s relationship with God stayed strong it did not fray. Job’s wife recommends Job to curse (stop blessing) God and die, but Job ask “shall we receive good at the hand of God and not receive evil? If we believe that God is good all the time, we must get to the place where we can give thanks through it all!
Be Blessed,
Pastor T.C. Johnson

National Safe Toys and Gifts Month
|
National Safe Toys and Gifts Month aims to raise awareness about the importance of selecting safe and age-appropriate toys for children. This observance serves as a reminder for parents, caregivers, and gift-givers to prioritize safety when choosing gifts, particularly during the busy holiday shopping season. The initiative focuses on preventing accidents and injuries caused by hazardous toys, which can lead to serious injuries, especially among young children
- Check Labels: Always look for age-appropriate labels on toys and follow the manufacturer's recommendations to ensure safety.
- Avoid Small Parts: Steer clear of toys with small parts that could pose choking hazards for young children.
- Inspect for Hazards: Examine toys for sharp edges, loose parts, or any potential dangers that could harm children.
- Read Reviews: Research toys and gifts online, read reviews, and ask for recommendations from other parents and caregivers.
- Consider Child’s Age: Take into account a child’s age, interests, and abilities when selecting gifts to ensure they are suitable.
As we celebrate National Safe Toys and Gifts Month, it is essential to commit to making informed choices that prioritize the safety and well-being of children. By following safety guidelines and spreading awareness, we can ensure that the joy of giving does not come with hidden hazards, making the holiday season a happy and healthy time for all

Hey Family! Just a reminder that the open enrollment period for Medicare begins today and goes thru Dec 7.
This is for start date Jan 1 2026. Please be sure to review your plan and any changes that will take place next year. A lot of changes will take place next year. Some surprises that could be disruptive: your copay may increase, your provider may not be covered anymore, your plan may no longer be offered in your area, your meds may be in a different tier than before causing a change in price, the deductible could have increased. These changes won’t really be announced
My suggestion- get a list of your meds, get a list of your providers (primary care and any specialists you expect to see for any reason), any procedures/treatments expected, etc and find that letter from September if you have it (from your current plan) to review any changes. Or call 1-800-Medicare (633-4227)
