Sermon Title: Help Me with Forgiveness
Speaker: Pastor T. C. Johnson
Scripture Reference: Matthew 6:7–15
In last Sunday’s message, "Help Me with Forgiveness," the Pastor explored the challenging but vital necessity of releasing past hurts and embracing a spirit of forgiveness. Drawing from the Lord’s Prayer in Matthew 6, the sermon emphasized that while unforgiveness acts as a heavy weight that hinders our own spiritual growth and peace, true freedom is found when we rely on God’s strength—rather than our own—to forgive those who have wronged us.
The message challenged the congregation to live as authentic witnesses for Christ, even when faced with difficult circumstances or unkind treatment. By looking to the example of Jesus, who prayed for those who persecuted Him, we are reminded that choosing to forgive is an act of obedience that opens the door for God’s grace to move into our lives. Ultimately, the sermon encouraged us to prioritize our witness and walk in the victory that comes through honoring God’s teachings, regardless of the challenges we face.

The food pantry hours are Monday - Wednesday from 9:30am - 2:00pm to serve our community. Donations to the pantry are always appreciated so if you would like to donate, feel free to bring those donations during pantry hours and one of our volunteers will be happy to receive them.
