Don’t Forget That God Loves you
John 3:16-17
16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. 17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
The sermon centers on the transformative and unconditional nature of God's love, urging believers to look beyond their current circumstances and recognize their value in Him. The message highlights that being familiar with church activities—or being "churched"—is not the same as having a true spiritual transformation. Drawing from the biblical encounter between Jesus and Nicodemus, it emphasizes that believers must be "born again" of the water and the spirit, which leads to a fundamental change in one’s attitude, conduct, and behavior.
A core challenge presented in the message is to avoid the trap of judging or condemning others based on their outward struggles or past mistakes. Instead of focusing on people's conditions, we are called to serve as a source of light and grace. The message also encourages believers to prioritize the personal feeding of their spirits with the Word of God daily rather than partaking only during Sunday services, as daily is the essential resource for spiritual growth and strength. The suggestion is that many believers suffer from fleshly obesity and spiritual malnutrition. In the conclusion, the message urges everyone to reflect on their life experiences and testimonies, reminding us that the difficulties they have survived are proof of God’s faithful love and should serve as a message to encourage others.

The Medical Ministry monthly topic is Prostate Cancer...this month's focus helps people understand that early detection saves lives. Prostate Cancer is the second most common cancer in men, and is significantly more devastating for Black men...the mortality rate for Black men from the disease is 67% higher as compared to white men. The good news is that the survival rate is over 99% Prostate Cancer is detected and treated in early stages. Obtain testing information from your physician or contact the American Cancer Society today (Hosea 4:6).

The food pantry hours are Monday - Wednesday from 9:30am - 2:00pm to serve our community. Donations to the pantry are always appreciated so if you would like to donate, feel free to bring those donations during pantry hours and one of our volunteers will be happy to receive them.
