Speaker: Pastor T.C. Johnson
Date: Sunday, September 29, 2024
Topic: "Marred in the Master’s Hand"
Scripture: Jeremiah 18:1-10
From the desk of Pastor T.C. Johnson
The prophet was instructed to go to the potter’s house to see God’s word! When he looked at the potter at work, he saw a vessel that had damaged/marred in the hands of the potter while it was being designing for purpose. He did not throw the marred vessel away, but rather he patiently kneaded the same clay again to make him a pleasing vessel. When we are confronted with our flaws and know that we are not all that God designed us to be, God is both willing and able to make us over. Never allow the mar that is in you overshadow the fact that you are in God’s hands. Never forget that God is a guaranteed make over expert. Never forget that God allowed his son the be marred for us, marred in the hand, marred in the feet, marred in the side, marred in the Master’s hand. But the wheel turned until Sunday morning and the rest is history…. I may be marred, but I’m in the master’s hand!
Be Blessed!
Pastor T.C. Johnson
