This is our theme for (June) Youth month, as well as the Youth Special Program held on the 14th. The Youth-led worship experience was one of the best-ever had at St Luke. I am so THANKFUL to every parent who encouraged their child to participate in ministry this year. We were able to congratulate Kindergarten to Doctoral level graduates: they were not just recognized, each was given a token of appreciation. We also recognized and showed our appreciation to all members of St. Luke who work in the public-school systems. As Pastor, “THANK YOU”, to every one of you who work so diligently at making our youth model citizens. To our Christian Education Staff, it is because of your patience and love that the young people were able to be spiritually impactful in very meaningful way. Thanks to all St. Luke members for allowing a large space for young people to be seriously involved in Kingdom Building at St Luke. May our Father continue to bless us as we live out the words of Jesus, “Suffer the little Children to come unto me.”

The St. Luke Christian Church Music Ministry is excited about presenting music that uplifts and blesses everyone. We are growing and looking for new members for all ensembles. If you are interested in joining, please reach out to Reverend Marvis Moore via 256-721-1294.

Continuing in June 2026, the Women’s Choir will sing in monthly rotation. The next rehearsal will be Tuesday, June 23rd at 6:30 p.m. These rehearsals are open to ages 12 and older. For more information, please contact Rev. Boussi Johnson.

The food pantry hours are Monday - Wednesday from 9:30am - 2:00pm to serve our community. Donations to the pantry are always appreciated so if you would like to donate, feel free to bring those donations during pantry hours and one of our volunteers will be happy to receive them.
