Sunday Sermon - March 8, 2026
|
Speaker: Minister Timothy Bennett, Jr.
Date: March 8, 2026
Topic: It's Going to Manifest
Scripture: Psalm 37:1-5
"It's Going to Manifest"
Psalms 37: 1-5
If we are honest, sometimes doing things God's way feels like it costs us more than it benefits. The scriptures challenge us to love our enemies, do good to those who despitefully use us, and to do right even when it seems that those around us doing wrong are prospering. We do not always see immediate results from following the ways of Christ and it can leave us wondering is it all worth it. Will I ever see the promises of God and reap the benefits of living according to the ways of God is what I ask myself sometimes. This Psalm, written by King David in his older age, reminds us that God will manifest everything He promised us. He will make those things that were invisible, visible. Those things that were once impossible God will make possible. While God is manifesting our future we have to be careful to not compare ourselves, especially to those who are evil doers. We have to trust in the Lord and continue to do good. We have to delight ourselves in the Lord and commit our ways to him and watch Him give us the desires of our hearts. Our God has a track record of manifestation. He manifested the world and everything in it. He manifested our salvation thru Jesus Christ. And whatever He has promised you "It's Going to Manifest!"
