Living the Christian life can be a challenge on many levels, and that may be an under-statement. Overwhelming external forces that burden the soul as well as internal doubt that cause one to question the validity or quality of one’s personal faith, are realities that so many must deal with during this ‘LIFE’ journey. When I look at the Communion Table and see the words “Do This In Remembrance Of Me” it brings comfort and calmness. We forget our worth and begin to worry about our relationship with the Father because bad and unpleasant things happen to us or ours. But if you can get to the cross and see an innocent Jesus, drenched in blood, bullied, belittled, battered, bruised, beaten and more, all for a guilty you, it should make you lift up your head and give you a refreshed faith. When a believer is lost or seriously dis-located in darkness of the valley of life, let them remember “at the cross, at the cross, where I first saw the light. So, take me to the cross when

June is PTSD Awareness Month

June is National Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder Awareness Month, and is intended to raise public awareness about issues related to PTSD, reduce the stigma associated with PTSD, and help ensure that those suffering from the invisible wounds of war receive proper treatment.

Youth Day 2025 - Theme: "You also are my witness"
|
Join the youth of St. Luke at they celebrate Youth Day 2025 on Sunday, June 28, 2025. The theme for this year is "You also are my witness - John 15:27. The attire is youth day t-shirts and denim bottoms.

2025 St. Luke Women's Ministry Trip
|
Hey family! The St. Luke Women’s Ministry has planned a trip to The Ark Experience which features a full-size Noah’s Ark built according to the dimensions given in the Bible. Spanning 510 feet long, 85 feet wide and 51 feet high. The trip is scheduled for Friday, July 11th – Sunday, July 13th and is open to all the women of St. Luke. The cost is $250 person and the price includes t-shirt, ticket to the experience and lodging. If you would like to attend this trip, they will be collecting money immediately following service for the next four weeks. If you have any questions, please reach out to sister Marie Troupe or Sister Sheila Carter.

Rhythm of the Renaissance - 2025 Summer Camp
|
The Learning Curve LLC in partnership with St. Luke Christian Church will be hosting the Rhythm of the Renaissance Summer Camp on the St. Luke campus from June 16th – July 18th. The schedule is Monday- Friday from 8am-2pm at a cost of $30/day. If you are in need of an extended day, this available for an additional cost. The food pantry hours have changed to Monday - Wednesday from 9:30am - 2:00pm to serve our community. Donations to the pantry are always appreciated so if you would like to donate, feel free to bring those donations during pantry hours and one of our volunteers will be happy to receive them.
